Our first packing party for the 

2024 Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Season 

will take place on 

Saturday, October 12, 10AM to 2PM, 

at 1792 North Parkway.  

Come when you can and stay as long as you wish--

pack one box or ten.  

We will be focused on 2 to 4 year old children.

 Ladies Tuesday Evening Bible Study on the book of Isaiah will meet weekly at 6:45PM beginning September 24.  Come dig into the Word of God with us!

 

AWANA, our Bible club for young people from age 2 through grade 12, resumes on Sunday evening, September 8, from 5:00 to 6:30PM.  Come out for a good time learning from the Bible, memorizing Scripture, and playing games.

 

Did you know that only $200 covers the initial cost for one woman in a crisis pregnancy to come to Life Choices for an appointment? This appointment includes pregnancy testing, STI/STD testing and treatment, counseling, and an ultrasound from an experienced nurse. Would you support us as we walk for these women?  The LifeWalk is this Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Memphis Zoo. Join our church team or donate at bit.ly/odbclifewalk. 

 

Our Annual Men's Chili Cook-off is coming on February 25.  All entries should be in the kitchen by 5:30PM.  The meal will begin at 6:00PM.  Men, bring your best chili for a chance to win the Silver Spike Award.  Ladies, bring accompaniments and desserts.

 

We have a couple of recurring fellowship activities planned for this year.  In odd-numbered months, we will have a ladies crafting activity where ladies can bring a craft project of their own to work on or work on a project for OCC shoeboxes while fellowshipping with other ladies (third grade and up).  In even-numbered months, we will have a Friday Fellowship for any adults who would enjoy dinner together and an activity.  These will range from potluck and table games to dinner out to bowling (or other activity) nights.  Make plans to attend.
