Life Walk

 



The Life Choices Life Walk is Saturday, April 24, 2020 from 10 AM - 12 PM at the Memphis Zoo!  Ruth Blackburn is assembling team Open Door Bible Church, and the team is just over halfway to its $1000 goal.  You can attend the walk at the Memphis Zoo, virtually at whatever location you choose, or you can just donate to this wonderful organization. April Couples Fellowship




Couples Fellowship for the month of April will meet at 7PM on April 30 at the home of Jason and Bethany Henry.  The theme for dinner is Mexican.  Come enjoy a time of fellowship, good food, and edification regarding married life.

2021 Scripture Memory Challenge


Join us for this year's Scripture Memory Challenge!  The passage is Psalm 46:1-11.  Choose your favorite Bible version and start hiding these words about the comfort found in God's strength and presence in your heart.  The goal is to have the full Psalm down by mid-May.

CELEBRATE THE RESURRECTION ON APRIL 4TH


Join us Easter Sunday morning as we set our hearts on the message of victory the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ brings.

8:30AM Breakfast -- We will meet in Wilson Hall (aka the fellowship hall) for a big breakfast.  Everything is provided.  You just need to show up.

9:30AM  Our Bible Study Hour groups (junior high and up) will meet together in Wilson Hall. Younger children classes will meet as usual.

10:45AM  Gather in the auditorium for a time of worship and celebration.

CANDLELIGHT CAROLS CHRISTMAS SERVICE -- Sunday, December 20, 6PM

 


Come celebrate together at our annual Candlelight Carols on Sunday, December 20. We will have lots of singing and worshipful times of reflecting on the story of our Savior's birth. Following the service, you are invited to our fellowship hall for a time of refreshments and fellowship. Merry Christmas!

ANNUAL THANKSGIVING DINNER -- 5PM ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22

 


We will hold our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday evening, November 22, in the Fellowship Hall. The main dish will be provided, and you can bring traditional sides and desserts. The food will be served cafeteria-style. Come prepared to share a testimony from a thankful heart.

We are beginning a study on Revelation September 6, Sunday evenings at 6PM. We'll be using videos and discussion. Join us for this fascinating look into God's plan and program.


Dr. Mark Hitchcock is a pastor, author, and Associate Professor of Bible Exposition at Dallas Seminary.  His purpose statement for Revelation reads:  “To give believers the advanced history of how Jesus Christ, through judgment, becomes King, with a view towards calling them to faithfulness and godliness.”
