 August Couples Fellowship

The August Couples Fellowship will meet in the home of Michael and Shirl LaVoice on the evening of August 20 at 7PM.  Couples should plan to wrap up the discussion of Paul Tripp's What Did You Expect?  The theme for the potluck dinner is seafood.  

 AWANA, our weekly Bible club for young people age 3--twelfth grade, will be back from summer break on August 22.  AWANA meets each Sunday evening at 5:30 for a time of Bible memory, Bible study, games, and more.  Mark your calendars!

 Join us for a good old-fashioned Hymn Sing on Sunday evening, July 18, at 6PM.  Come ready to warm up your vocal chords in praise to the Lord.

 

Congratulations on 40 years of service!

Pastor Gary and Ms. Peggy came to Open Door Bible Church on June 19, 1981.  They have faithfully served the Lord in our midst for 40 years.  What a blessing from God!

 On Saturday, May 15, Family Action Council of Tennessee is hosting a God-centered worldview seminar called Restoring the Vision. Tickets can be obtained for the in-person gathering or for the livestream of the event at https://www.factennessee.org/events/restoring-the-vision  Speakers include David Fowler (FACT), Constitutional lawyer Jeff Shafer, and author/historian Dr. George Grant.

 The AWANA year is coming to a close.  The last regular club night is May 2.  The Awards Banquet will be held Sunday, May 16, 5:30PM.  Come congratulate our clubbers on all the Scripture they have memorized this year.
